It is the mission of The Veterans Corporation to support veterans and their families and we would like to take this time to recognize a Vietnam Veteran who has overcome significant challenges and now is a successful entrepreneur as a result of his dedication to helping veterans. Stephen Paul Campos was born in Modesto, California and enlisted in the Army in 1967. At the age of 19 he was trained as a rifle and weapon specialist with the 199thLight Infantry Brigade at Fort Lewis Washington. He was sent to fight in Vietnam in April 1968 which was one of the deadliest times of the war. He served a one year tour of combat duty that would change his life forever. After returning home from war he suffered from the many symptoms of PTSD which include relationship problems, inability to keep employment and substance abuse issues. Through faith based means and the support of other veterans, he was able to overcome his PTSD symptoms and become an author and successful entrepreneur.
